Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

Vivian Scholz was a long-time athletic secretary and later was secretary for the Javelina Booster Club. She kept records and ensured the club ran smoothly during the time she oversaw its operation.

She was an away-from-home mother to the athletes and enjoyed giving the former players hugs when they returned to campus. She started working for the university for several years before moving over to athletics.

Scholz served in the athletic department beginning in 1970 until she passed away in 2013.
