Kassie Rezza became the first Javelina softball player to be named First Team All-America by the NFCA following the 2006 season. As a second baseman, she set a school record at the time with a .434 batting average as a senior, besting the previous mark of .392 she set a year earlier as a junior.

Her 79 hits as a senior set a single-season school record that still stands to this day and her 108 total bases slotted her second at the time. She also swiped 20 bases for the third-highest single-season mark, while the .593 slugging percentage mark went in as the fourth-best mark.

She played in a then-record 212 games in her career in the Blue and Gold, and finished with the most hits (260), then-highest batting average (.375), triples (24), then-most runs scored (133) and total bases (343).

Rezza was named the Lone Star Conference South Division Player of the Year in 2006, was First Team All-LSC, made the D2CCA All-South Central Region team and added another First Team All-LSC as a senior. In total, she collected four All-LSC citations during her career in the Blue and Gold.
