Javelina Hall of Fame
One of the greatest field athletes in NCAA Division II history, Robinson is a five-time national champion in the high jump. He won national titles during the 2013 indoor and outdoor seasons, the 2014 and 2015 outdoor seasons, and capped his career by winning the event during both the 2016 indoor and outdoor seasons.
His crowning achievement during that run came at the 2015 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships, where Robinson set the Division II outdoor high jump record by clearing 2.31 meters. That mark still stands currently.
Individually, Robinson is one of the most decorated field athletes in Texas A&M-Kingsville history. In addition to his five national championships, he is an eight-time All-American, earning four honors each in indoor and outdoor track and field. He was also a five-time U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association South Central Region Field Athlete of the Year and a two-time USTFCCCA National Field Athlete of the Year. Robinson also dominated the Lone Star Conference, winning four consecutive indoor and outdoor high jump titles from 2013-16.
After his time with the Javelinas, Robinson competed at the highest levels nationally and internationally. He won the high jump at the 2018 and 2019 USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships and represented the United States at the 2018 North American, Central American and Caribbean Athletic Association Championships, where he also won the high jump title.
