Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

Johnny McNabb is a charter member of the Javelina Hall of Fame. He was a three-year letterman in football and still holds the school punting record. He was inducted in 1972.

He played four years with the basketball team and was captain of the 1936 squad.

From Kingsville, McNabb received a health and physical education degree in 1939. He worked at Celanese and was married to the former Jane Kirkpatrick, who received a master’s degree from A&I.
