Merle Muckleroy

Merle Muckleroy was an All-America football player during his playing days in 1955-56. He was inducted into the Javelina Hall of Fame in 2003.
Muckleroy was a Helms Foundation All-America honoree in 1955 as an offensive lineman for the Javelinas. He also served as a team captain and was a member of the “T” Association.
He was with the Javelinas during the coaching tenure of Steinke and at the time the Javelinas entered the Lone Star Conference.
Muckleroy is a former president of Camco Products and Services and worked in Venezuela with the company. He has also been with Otis Engineering and Wensa Wireline.
He holds a general engineering degree from Texas A&I and took part in the executive development program at Texas A&M in 1976 and the senior executive program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1985.
He is active in the Javelina Alumni Association.
Muckleroy is married to the former George Anne Hubert of Vattman and they have a son, Mark, and a daughter Mary.
