She earned letters in basketball in 1976, 1977 and 1978, and during her three-year career set most of the Javelina scoring and rebounding records---game, season and career.

She scored 300 points in 1977-78, the 10th highest total for a season, and she had a single-game high of 30 points the same year.

Jimenez still holds four of the team’s six single-game records, one season mark and one career record.

She played at Texas A&I before the women had a conference or national affiliation.

She played high school basketball at Stroman High School in Victoria and currently lives in Victoria where she coaches cross country and freshman basketball at Victoria High School.
