Javelina Hall of Fame
Dr. Kenneth Scholz was captain of the 1950 football team, was vice president of the “T” Association, served on the Student Union governing board, was a member of Alpha Chi, was selected to Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities in 1950 and 1951, was All-Texas College and received mention on the Association Press Little All-America team. He was inducted into the Javelina Hall of Fame in 1974.
Scholz, who played at Robstown before joining the Javelinas, graduated from Texas A&I in 1951. He is a medical doctor specializing in orthopedic surgery in Lubbock.
He and his wife, Nancy, have three daughters.
