Texas A&M - Kingsville Athletics

Harold Menke lettered three years in football and was an All-Texas honoree. He made the Associated Press Little All-America honorable mention team and served as president of the “T” Association. He was inducted into the Javelina Hall of Fame in 1974.

Menke also earned two letters in track and field.

He played at Cuero before becoming a Javelina.

He received his degree in 1951 and is with Drilling Tools, Inc., of Corpus Christi.

Menke and his wife, Ernestine, have one child.
