TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY-KINGSVILLE ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS OFFICE
The objective of the athletic communications office is to support the TAMUK athletic programs with the publication and dissemination of all recaps, awards, previews, press releases, and feature stories on the JavelinaAthletics.com website, as well as to maintain historical records.
ATHLETIC COMMUNICATIONS POLICIES
NOTE: The TAMUK Athletic Communications Office reserves the right to revoke press access to any media entity found in violation of the below policies
INTERVIEWS - Individuals associated with any media outlet requesting to interview members associated with the TAMUK athletic department, including, but not limited to, administrators, coaches, student-athletes and staff, must contact Mason Anderson, Director of Athletic Communications, at either 361-593-2870 or mason.anderson@tamuk.edu with the names of the requested interviewees and at least 24 hours advance notice. The athletic commmunications office will make every effort to fulfill the request, but members associated with the athletic department are in no way guaranteed to be available for interviews.
POSTGAME POLICIES - Coaches and student-athletes will be made available for interviews with members of the media following a cooldown period of 10-20 minutes after all TAMUK home athletic events. A limited number of student-athletes will be made available for interviews at the discretion of the coaching staff and the athletic communications office.
CREDENTIALS - Credentials are required for field-level and press box access to all TAMUK-sponsored athletic events. Please click this LINK to request credentials for photographers, videographers, reporters, and any other members of the media.
