BISHOP, Texas (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (5-11) returns to the courts April 9 to host Trinity University (10-9) at 11 a.m. at the Bishop High School Tennis Courts.

Marija Dimitrovska (13-8) and
Mariaxi Herrera (12-9) are both on a three-match winning streak in singles play. Freshman
Madi Gomez is 6-6 in singles play and sophomore
Martina Urrutia is 4-4.

Herrera and
Erika Larrea are 6-2 in doubles and Dimitrovska and Gomez are 5-2 as a unit.

Trinity is the No. 24 ranked team in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) DIII national rankings. The Tigers are currently on a four-match losing streak and enter Bishop with a 10-9 mark.

Gabriella Roe is 11-7 in singles matches this season and is 7-3 in her last ten matches. No. 9 Marie Lutz and Andrea De Leon are both 10-7 in singles and No. 21 Caroline Kutach is 9-8.

Roe and Liza Southwick (8-4 in singles) are 10-2 in doubles action, posting a 9-1 record in their last ten duals. Kutach and Lutz are 9-3 as a tandem and Cheyenne Duncan (8-7 in singles) is 8-1 when paired with De Leon.
