Kingsville — The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's tennis team picked up multiple Lone Star Conference postseason honors, with senior Guadalupe Tocci and graduate student Maya Donkor earning Honorable Mention recognition and junior Kaitlin Blount being named to the LSC Sportsmanship Team.
Tocci and Donkor were recognized as an Honorable Mention doubles pair after putting together an impressive season together on the No. 1 doubles court. The duo went 10-9 overall and 6-4 in conference play, proving to be one of the most reliable doubles tandems in the LSC. The pair also earned national recognition, finishing the season at No. 15 in the national doubles rankings.
Donkor also earned individual recognition, receiving an Honorable Mention nod for her singles play. She finished the season 10-9 overall and 5-5 in conference matches, seeing time across multiple court positions including the No. 1, No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 spots throughout the year.
Blount was selected to the LSC Sportsmanship Team, an honor given to student-athletes who exemplify outstanding sportsmanship, character and ethical conduct while displaying the true spirit of competition in college tennis.
