WICHITA FALLS, Texas (Tennis) – Paula Saenz closed out the regular season with a win via retirement, but Texas A&M University-Kingsville (5-15, 0-3 LSC) fell to No. 20 Midwestern State University (16-7, 2-1 LSC), 8-1, on Monday at the MSU Tennis Center. 
Marija Dimitrovska concluded the regular season with a 15-10 overall record and went 12-8 this spring. The senior from Skopje, Macedonia is the all-time leader in singles wins (43). 
Mariaxi Herrera posted a 13-7 record this spring and tallied two match wins against nationally ranked opponents in 2016. 
Saenz finished 9-11 overall (7-6 in spring) and 
Madi Gomez ends the 2016 regular season 8-9 with a 7-7 spring record. 
Herrera and 
Erika Larrea were 7-5 in doubles, while Dimitrovska and Gomez went 6-4 as a tandem. 
Kingsville will return to the MSU Tennis Center April 29-30 to compete in the Lone Star Conference Tournament. The Javelinas will take on Cameron in the first round of the tourney.
