BISHOP, Texas (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (5-12) opens conference play with a home match against No. 17 Cameron University (15-2, 2-0 LSC) on April 15, followed by a match at Tarleton State University (12-5, 0-2 LSC) on April 16. Two days later, the Hogs will conclude regular season play at No. 20 Midwestern State University (14-7, 1-1 LSC) in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Kingsville's final home match versus CU will take place at 9:30 a.m. Firt serve is scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday at the Potishman-Lard Tennis Courts as the Javelinas battle Tarleton State. The season finale for TAMUK will take place at the MSU Tennis Courts at 10 a.m.

Marija Dimitrovska is 14-8 overall and 11-6 in the spring. Dimitrovska is on a four-game winning streak and is 8-1 in her last nine matches. No. 8
Mariaxi Herrera (13-9 overall) is also on a four-game winning streak with a 7-2 record in her last nine matches and is 12-5 in the spring.
Paula Saenz is 8-9 this season in singles competition and is currently on a three-game winning streak.

Erika Larrea (8-13 in singles) are 7-2 in doubles play this season and are 7-2 in their last nine matches while Dimitrovska and
Madi Gomez (7-8 in singles) are 5-3 in spring doubles play.

About the AggiesNo. 17 Cameron comes to the Bishop High School Tennis Courts with a 15-2 record this season and a 2-0 mark in Lone Star Conference play after sliding by No. 20 Midwestern State 5-4. The Aggies then shut out No. 41 St. Edwards 9-0 on April 14. The Aggies are on a seven-match winning streak and are 6-0 on the road in 2016.

South Central top-rank Paula Gutierrez is 17-4 in singles competition, 2-0 in conference play and is 3-0 against nationally ranked opponents. No. 5 Angie Torres has a 15-4 record this season and No. 17 Zhenia Shviadok is 18-3 in the midst of a team-high seven-match winning streak. Samantha Wood has a 14-2 mark for CU and is on a six-match win streak.Â
Regionally ranked No. 5 Shviadok and Alina Gorina (13-4, 2-0 LSC in singles) are 12-4 overall and 2-0 in LSC in doubles action with a five-match winning streak. Gutierrez and Mathilde Thibaud (15-4 overall and 12-2 in the spring in singles play) are 13-2 overall and 9-1 in their last ten matches.

About the TexAnnsTSU (12-5, 0-2) will take to the newly renovated Potishman-Lard Tennis Courts after an 8-1 loss to No. 20 Midwestern State on April 6. Earlier this season, the TexAnns lost to No. 17 Cameron 8-1 in Lawton, Okla. Tarleton State is No. 7 in the South Central Region and 2-12 versus regional opponents.Â

Ashleigh Elward is ranked No. 10 in the region in singles play with a 12-5 record this season. No. 13 Erika Richarme is 13-4 in 2016 and is 9-1 in her last ten single matches. Elward and Richarme post the best doubles record at 14-3 this season and are 2-0 in the LSC.

In singles, Luiza Ferraro-Adas is 11-6, Elena Precadca is 11-4, and Ellie Stevens is 10-5 this season although all four is winless in conference competition. Precadca and Adas (11-6 in doubles) and Shelby Fillingame (3-2 in singles) along with Stevens are 8-2 in their last ten matches. Â Â

About the MustangsNo. 20 Midwestern State is 14-7 in 2016 and 1-1 in the LSC. The Mustangs are currently on a two-match losing streak and will face off against No. 41 St. Edward's University on April 15 in Austin, Texas.

No. 2 in the South Central Region, Madeline Schorlemmer is 11-7 this season and No. 14 Greta Lazzarotto is 13-8. Both are 6-4 in their last ten singles matches but have been a force in doubles action with an 18-2 record and an impressive 11-match win streak.

No. 17 Eirini Kontaki is 10-9 in singles and is partnered with Lindsey Nochowiez (10-4 in singles). The duo is 12-7 in doubles play. Amy Clifton (3-2 in singles) and Lauren Pineda (14-3 in singles and 7-1 in last eight single matches) are 14-2 in doubles with a 8-2 record against their last ten opponents.
