Match 17: Tennis Returns Home for Three Consecutive Matches

Javelinas play first of final two nonconference matches at home



KINGSVILLE, Texas (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (4-11) matches up against Laredo Community College March 25 at the Bishop High School Tennis Courts. First serve is slated for 11 a.m.
 
Marija Dimitrovska and Mariaxi Herrera lead the way in singles play this season. Dimitrovska is 12-8 overall with a 9-6 spring record and Herrera is 11-9 this season with a 10-5 spring mark. Madi Gomez is 7-8 this season and 5-2 in singles No. 6.
 
Gomez and Dimitrovska (4-2) are on a two-match winning streak in doubles No. 3. Herrera and Erika Larrea are 5-2 this season as a tandem.
 
Laredo Community College ranked No. 7 in the NJCAA Region II rankings. Lisa Carvajal is ranked No. 20 in the nation in singles play, while Lorish Poluspepne sits at No. 36. Carvajal and Bueno are ranked No. 11 nationally in doubles and No. 6 in Region II.
