AUSTIN, Texas (Tennis) – No. 42 Texas A&M University-Kingsville (0-3) has two matches scheduled for this weekend as the Javelinas head to No. 40 St. Edward's University (2-2) Feb. 19 at 1 p.m. and the University of Texas of the Permian Basin (0-6) Feb. 21 at 10 a.m. in New Braunfels, Texas.

Madi Gomez is 2-1 in singles play in the spring and
Mariaxi Herrera,
Marija Dimitrovska and
Erika Larrea each have a singles victory. Herrera and Dimitrovska are 1-2 in doubles play, with the win coming at No. 11 St. Mary's University last week.
Last season, the Javelinas defeated UTPB, 5-3, on Feb. 16 before falling to then No. 33 St. Edward's, 7-0.
South Central Regional RankingsThe newest Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) South Central Regional rankings were released yesterday and Texas A&M-Kingsville sits at No. 6 in the poll, two spots behind the Hilltoppers. UTPB began the spring ranked No. 10 in the region, but have since fallen out of the rankings.
Herrera is No. 10 in singles and Dimitrovska is No. 20 and the duo ranks No. 10 in doubles. St. Edward's features three singles players in the top 20 – Anjali Sampath (No. 9), Laura Galvan (No. 14) and Marissa Williams (No. 18).
Scouting the HilltoppersElisa Guillen is 3-1 in the spring in singles play and Sampath and Ivana Zecevic each have a singles win in flight No. 1. Valentina Martinez is also 3-1 in singles action and Galvan and Zecevic are 4-1 in doubles action, all in doubles No. 3.
Scouting the FalconsUTPB is 0-6 on the year and are led by Maria Orona's 2-0 mark in singles play. Megan and Shelby Greene are 4-2 in doubles in the spring.
