WINTER PARK, Fla. (Tennis) – No. 43 Texas A&M University-Kingsville (4-9) picked up singles win but fell 2-7 to No. 27 Rollins University (5-3) on Wednesday, March 16
th at the Bert W. Martin Tennis Complex.
Mariaxi Herrera and
Marija Dimitrovska improve to 7-7 in singles play. Herrera defeated Carli Davis 6-2, 6-4 in singles flight No. 1, while Dimitrovska handles Teresa Kaiser 6-0, 6-1.
Rollins took all three doubles matches before Herrera and Dimitrovska posted the wins for the Blue and Gold. Rollins went on to take singles matches 3-6.
The Javelinas will play for the third consecutive day against the University of Tampa at the Naimoli and Young Family Tennis Complex tomorrow at 2 p.m.
