WINTER PARK, Fla. (Tennis) – The Javelinas dominated their way to 8-1 victories in doubles No. 1 and No. 2 and a 8-4 win in No. 3 to take a 3-0 lead into singles action. Texas A&M University-Kingsville (10-8) did not stop there as the Hogs took singles No. 3, No. 5 and No. 6 in straight sets to earn a 6-0 win over Bluefield State College (1-5) on Friday morning at the Bert W. Tennis Complex on the campus of Rollins College.

With the win over the NCAA Division II Blues, the Javelinas ended their Florida road trip 3-2.
Marija Dimitrovska,
Paula Saenz and
Erika Larrea came out with wins in their respective singles flights and doubles matches.

In doubles No. 1, Dimitrovska and
Mariaxi Herrera – the reigning Lone Star Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week – defeated Lucia Young and Laura Hernandez, 8-1.
Nadia Grlj and
Tabata Lua followed with an 8-1 win over Wendy Rudhu and Tafadzwa Mawisire in No. 2 and Saenz and Larrea downed Maria Hernandez and Marta Briales, 8-4, in No. 3.

In singles No. 3, Dimitrovska earned a 6-1, 6-1 win over Estel Balada. Saenz and Larrea clinched the perfect day and win for the Hogs with a 6-3, 6-1 win in No. 5 and 6-2, 6-1 win in No. 6, respectively.

The busy Javelinas return to the Lone Star State and host No. 18 Midwestern State University in the LSC opener and home opener on Saturday, March 28 at 1 p.m. on the Bishop High School Tennis Courts.
