TAMPA, Fla. (Tennis) –
Texas A&M University-Kingsville (9-7) continues its stellar season, handing the previously 11-0 State University of New York at Geneseo Knights its first loss of the season, 7-2, in the first of two matches Wednesday at the Naimoli and Young Family Tennis Complex on the campus of the University of Tampa. In the afternoon tilt, No. T-45 Tampa (6-5) defeated the Javelinas, 7-2.

Paula Saenz went 2-0 in singles action and 1-1 in doubles No. 3 to improve to 9-4 in singles play and 7-8 in doubles.

The Javelinas are currently 2-1 in their Sunshine State tour.
