Kingsville - One week after the final home meet of their seasons, the Texas A&M-Kingsville men's and women's track and field teams will be sending three distance athletes to California for Azusa Pacific's Bryan Clay Invitational, while the rest of their squads will be traveling to Houston for the Tom Tellez Invitational.
The distance runners' competition in Azusa will stretch across three days, from Thursday through Saturday, while Houston's meet will feature a more standard Friday-Saturday schedule. Tom Tellez's complete schedule can be found

In Houston, the Javelinas will be facing off, in addition to their hosts, East Texas Baptist, Houston Christian, Huston-Tillotson, Lamar, McNeese, North Dakota, Rice, Sam Houston, St. Edwards, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, Texas Southern, and Tulane. That meet will feature 30 Javelina men and 24 women. Friday's competition will begin at 12:30 p.m. for field events and 5:00 p.m. for track events. On Saturday, field events begin at 10:30 a.m. and track events start at 1:30 p.m..
In Cali, senior women's distance runner
Ivanova Yanes will race the 10k at 9:25 a.m. on Thursday, while men's distance runners sophomore
Kristian Green and freshman
Leon Doran are set to race the 5k and 800m on Friday afternoon.
