Kingsville - Texas A&M-Kingsville released its eleven-game 2026 Javelina Football Schedule on Wednesday.
Under the direction of second-year Head Coach Scott Parr, the Javelinas will look to build upon its 5-6 record last season that featured multiple broken offensive records by the offense under Parr's coaching. The Javelinas brought in 49 players during signing day as well, hoping to bolster the 2026 roster with fresh talent.
Kicking off the 2026 season will be a home-opening contest on Aug. 29 against Northwest Missouri State, who finished No. 17 in the AFCA poll and made the NCAA DII playoffs last season. The Javelinas will play their last non-conference opponent the following week against Saginaw Valley State, who the Hogs have not played since the 2021 season.
Kicking off conference play will be a contest between the Javelinas and Eastern New Mexico on Sep. 19 for Family Day. The Javelinas will then travel to Western New Mexico to wrap up September before turning the calendar over to face West Texas A&M for the first weekend in October.
The pacific northwest teams await the Javelinas in the following two games, as the Javelinas travel to the evergreen state to play Western Oregon before returning home to face reigning Lone Star Conference Champion Central Washington on Oct. 17. Afterwards, the Javelinas travel to San Angelo to take on Angelo State, whom they took down last season for the Javelinas' first ranked win since 2023.
Texas A&M-Kingsville wraps up the 2026 season with a pair of home games against Midwestern State and Sul Ross State before traveling to DII quarterfinalist UT-Permain Basin. The Midwestern State game on Oct. 31 will serve as homecoming for Texas A&M-Kingsville while the following week against Sul Ross State will be senior night.
