San Antonio - Despite many of the bracket championships were postponed or cancelled due to rain, the Texas A&M-Kingsville women's tennis team picked up multiple wins in both singles and doubles and earned multiple bids to said championships in its fall season opener at the Brother Al Invitational.

"I feel really good about them," Head Coach Autumn Wollenzien said. "Guadi played really well. She beat St. Mary's number one, who is ranked and it'll probably get her a high seed at the ITA Regional at the end of the month. Lilly played an excellent match against a really good player too."

Women's Open Singles East Results Flight 1
Quarterfinals - Lily-Isabelle Muraske defeated Eva Kovachev (Trinity) in straight sets 6-4, 6-3.
Quarterfinals - Guadalupe Tocci defeated Lucero Alvarado (Trinity) without dropping a set 6-0, 6-0.
Semifinals - Lily-Isabelle Muraske fell in a close match to Madalyn Smelley (St. Mary's) 3-6, 6-2, [7] [10]. 
Semifinals - Guadalupe Tocci advanced to the finals in the east draw after a narrow victory over Selina Wu (St. Mary's) 6-4, 3-6, [10] [6].

Quarterfinals - Annika Andersson Gomez defeated Isabella Hill (Texas Lutheran) in straight sets 6-0, 6-0.

Women's Open Singles East Results Flight 4
Quarterfinals - Emma Halvarsson fell in her opening match to Lauren Tin (Trinity) in a hard fought match 6-2, 6-4.
Quarterfinals - Andrea Landaeta advanced to the next round of the draw in a lopsided match against Anja Pisar (Our Lady of the Lake) 6-0, 6-1.
Semifinals - Andrea Landaeta's comeback came up just short against Victoria Jordana Salcedo Franklin (Incarnate Word) 6-0, 7-5.

Women's Open Singles East Results Flight 5
Quarterfinals - Yasmin El Fadili defeated Adison Ortega (Texas Lutheran) in a well earned victory 6-3, 6-1.
Semifinals - Yasmin El Fadili's finals bid came up short in a close defeat to Allison Vo (Trinity) 5-7,3-6.

Women's Open Doubles East Flight 1
Quarterfinals - Andrea Landaeta and Guadalupe Tocci defeated Farah Standley and Lucero Alvarado (Texas Lutheran) 8-1.
Quarterfinals - The tandem of Maya Donkor and Lily-Isabelle Muraske advanced to the next round of the draw defeating Lucy Nabedrick and Eva Kovachev (Trinity) 8-5. 
Semifinals - Andrea Landaeta and Guadalupe Tocci fell narrowly in a hard-fought match against Rosabella Andrade and Trinity Levy (Trinity) 8(7)-7(5). 
Semifinals - Maya Donkor and Lily-Isabelle Muraske lost an intense match against Selina Wu and Madalyn Smelley 5-8. 

Women's Open Doubles East Flight 2 (Roundrobin)
Annika Andersson Gomez and Emma Halvarsson dropped their opening doubles match against Suryanshi and Gia Posito (St.Mary's) 6-8.
Annika Andersson Gomez and Emma Halvarsson bounced back in their second doubles match against Lauren Tin and Allison Vo (Trinity University) 8(7)-7(4). 
Andersson Gomez and Halvarsson fell in their Sunday match against Sarah Wooten and Isabella Olsson (St. Mary's) 4-8.
