San Antonio - In a clash of top-35-ranked teams, the Texas A&M - Kingsville women's tennis team fell, 6-1, to the St. Mary's Rattlers.
The Javelinas lost the split doubles point, with junior

Manuela Turolo listing 4-6 on the first court, with freshmen
Andrea Landaeta and
Annalena Noll falling 0-6 on the No.2 doubles court. Junior

Luna Jokanovic grabbed Kingsville's doubles win, taking a 6-2 win on the third court.
The Javelinas' lone point of the day came from Noll on the third singles court, where she won a hard-fought, 2-6, 6-2, 6-4 match. Three other matches went to three sets, with Tocci falling 6-7, 6-4, 2-6 in the No.2 spot, while Turolo lost 3-6, 6-4, 1-6 at No.5 and Jokanovic lost 6-7 (5-7), 7-5, 4-6.
Junior
Annika Andersson Gomez fell, 4-6, 2-6 on the No.4 court while Landaeta lost 2-6, 1-6 at No.6.
Kingsville has one match remaining on its regular season schedule, as the team heads to Western New Mexico for a noon clash with the Mustangs next Friday.
