Pollard named AVCA All-American

Kingsville - After a standout senior campaign, rightside hitter/setter Rylan Pollard has been recognized once again on the national stage, earning a spot on the 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Association's Division II Women's All-America Teams as an Honorable Mention.

Just one week after being named to the AVCA's All-Region Team as an Honorable Mention. It adds to an impressive display case for a stellar senior day, which also saw her named to the Lone Star Conference's All-Conference First Team.

The national recognition serves as a fitting culmination for the Colorado native's four year career with the Javelinas. During her tenure with Kingsville, Pollard established herself as one of the most versatile players in program history. She became only the second player in Lone Star Conference history to capture both LSC Setter of the Week and LSC Offensive Player of the Week honors in the same season. Pollard also became the fourth Javelina to earn multiple LSC Setter of the Week awards in a single season, the first to do so since 2021.

Her dominance was showcased through her nation-leading triple-double production. She finished the season with 11, nearly double the next closest Division II player who had six. Beyond consistency, she elevated her game in the biggest moments, capturing four of those triple-doubles during the final seven matches of the season helping the Javelinas make the LSC tournament.

Pollard's statistical line reflected her all-around impact this season with 2.94 kills per set on a .234 hitting percentage, 4.92 assists per set, 2.46 digs per set, and 51 blocks. She reached double-figure kills in 20 matches, with six performances of 15 or more kills.
