Before beginning his coaching career, Vazquez-Sanchez played at St. Andrew's University in North Carolina from 2020 to 2024. Vazquez-Sanchez earned a bachelor's degree in sports management from St. Andrew's University and an MBA and a master's degree in strategic management from Oakland City University.
