KINGSVILLE, Texas - The Texas A&M-Kingsville women's tennis team is back home as they close out the last of their home matches against the Western New Mexico Mustangs and the UT Permian Basin Falcons.
The Mustangs (1-17, 0-7 LSC) have had a rough season, with their lone win coming on Feb. 16 against Ottawa University Arizona. The Falcons (8-12, 3-4 LSC) have won two of their last five, against Arkansas-Fort Smith and UT Tyler.
The Javelinas (7-8, 1-5 LSC) take on the Mustangs first on Friday, April 12 before celebrating Senior Day against the Falcons on Saturday. Both matches are scheduled for 10 a.m.
The two matches will be the Javelina's first contests against non-ranked opponents in four matches, previously facing teams ranked No.24, No. 24, No. 3, and No. 39.

Alessa Maier holds place in the most recent ITA Singles rankings at No. 6. Maier is listed at 21-2 in singles play on the year by the ITA, currently on a nine-match win streak.

Milou ter Morsche rocketed up the doubles rankings after wins over the No. 50 and No. 13 pairs in their last two matches, jumping 13 spots to come in at No. 17. The ranking is the highest for a doubles pair in Javelina history.
