During his four seasons in Kingsville, Gonzalez broke 15-game, season, and career records.
Currently, Gonzalez has been serving as the head coach at Rio Grande City La Grulla since 2010.
He joins softball player Cassie Anderson and basketball player Isaac Washington in the 2023 Hall of Fame Class, with two more inductees to be announced in the coming weeks.
