TAMPA BAY – The Texas A&M – Kingsville women's tennis team dropped its second of three matches in Florida on Wednesday to Hillsborough College, 7-0.
The Javelinas failed to pick up across a single set against last season's NJCAA Regional Champion Lady Hawks in Florida in the Javs second of three matches during spring break.
Hillsborough, which is undefeated this season, swept the double's point with the closest match coming at No. 3 as Annika Andersson Gomez/Sterre Moerdijk fell, 6-4.
In the singles, the Javs fell in straight sets in all matches.
TAMUK now prepares to close out their series of three matches in the Sunshine state tomorrow against New Paltz at the UTSA National Campus at 5:30 p.m.
