MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. - The Texas A&M – Kingsville women's tennis team (1-2) fell on the road Friday to the Georgia College & State University Bobcats (5-1), 7-0 as part of the Javelinas road trip through the peach state. 

The Bobcats took the doubles point as the pair of Alessa Maier and Milou Ter Morsche picked up the only win of the day in the second line with a 6-4 win over Jada Young and Ansley Morrison. Manuela Turolo and Raina Zaffar fell in the one spot 6-4 as Annika Andersson and Sterre Moerdijk loss in the third line 6-2. 

In the singles two Javelinas pushed matches into the third set before dropping the match. In the sixth line Annika Andersson pushed GCSU's Shradha Chhabra to a third set and tie breaker losing 5-7, 6-1, 10-5. 

Ter Morsche was the only other Javelina to force a third set after she dropped the first set 6-2, the junior from the Netherlands bounced back returning the favor with a 6-2 win in the second set before falling 6-0 in the third and the final set. 

Alessa Maier, Sterre Moerdijk, Raina Zaffar, and Manuela Turolo all fell in straight sets in singles play.
