KINGSVILLE, Texas— Texas A&M-Kingsville tennis coach Autumn Wollenzien officially released the 2022 fall schedule on Tuesday, with her squad competing in five tournaments, including the Javelina Jam, which will take place on Sep. 16-17 at the Javelina Tennis Courts on the campus of TAMUK. 
 
"I'm excited for a great fall," said coach Wollenzien. "We will play a lot of Division I opponents, on top of most of the teams in our conference and region. It should provide a lot of opportunity for us to see some great competition."
 
The campaign kicks off in San Antonio, Texas, as the Javs head to the Rohrbach Stadium Tennis Complex for the St. Mary's Invitational, which spans Sep. 2-4. 
 
From there, the season continues Sep. 9-11 in Corpus Christi, Texas, with the Islander Open at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center. Last year's iteration saw then-sophomore Milou ter Morsche advance to the tournament's championships match after downing a pair of NCAA Division I competitors before weather halted the final day of competition. 
 
The squad then heads home, hosting the Javelina Jam before hitting the road and traveling to Arlington, Texas, for the International Tennis Associations' Regional competition from Sep. 22-24.
 
Following a brief hiatus, the team wraps up their fall campaign, returning to the Alamo City on Oct. 28-30 for the Incarnate Word Classic at the Clarence Mabry Tennis Center.
