Box Score 2 PLANO, Texas – Two matches were on the docket for the Texas A&M-Kingsville women's tennis team on Saturday in Plano, Texas and the Javelinas notched wins in both contests, cruising past the Texas A&M-Texarkana Eagles, 4-0, then dropping the Weatherford College Wolves, 5-2.
These two wins boost TAMUK over .500 to 2-1 in 2022.
"We had two great wins today," said coach Autumn Wollenzien. "The first one, they had to be mentally tough to weather the conditions and still be able to take care of business.
"The second match was great and Weatherford was a very good team. It felt like a match that could happen in April. I was proud of the way the girls played. They fought hard and showed some resilience. It was a good day on the courts for us."
