Victoria Romanovskaia improves to 7-3 in her last ten matches

WICHITA FALLS, Texas (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (11-7, 1-2 LSC) lost its second conference match of the season (8-1) to #15 Midwestern State University (12-3, 2-0 LSC) after weather forced the two clubs to play indoors at the Wichita Falls Country Club on Sunday afternoon.

The Mustangs took all three doubles flight by the score 8-1 before winning the next three singles matches to claim the win. Victoria Romanovskaia put the Hogs on the board after she fought for a win in flight No. 2 against Amy Clifton (4-6, 6-2, 7-5) but served as the only victory for TAMUK as MSU took the remaining flights.

Texas A&M-Kingsville will play the remainder of their matches on the new Javelina Tennis Courts. The Hogs will have a conference match on April 7 against Western New Mexico before wrapping up the regular season the following week against St. Mary's and Tarleton State.
