LAKELAND, Fla. (Tennis) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (6-5, 1-0 LSC) could not end No. 33 Florida Southern College (6-2, 3-0 SSC) winning streak, falling 9-0 on Friday afternoon at Wynee Warden Tennis Center.

No. 12 in the South Central Region Valerie Ruiz fell in a tight match to Selin Devrimci (5-7, 7-6, 4-10) and 17th (regionally) ranked Lisa Carvajal was defeated by Sasha Nionava (15th in South Region) in straight sets 2-6, 1-6.  

The Blue and Gold will return home for a dual match on March 21st against Newman University.
