Lady Panthers are 1-3 on the year



PRAIRIE VIEW, Texas (Tennis) –
 Texas A&M University-Kingsville (0-1) visits Prairie View A&M University (1-3) for a 2 p.m. matchup on Feb. 6 on the PVAMU Tennis Courts.
 
The Javelinas are coming off a 4-3 loss to the University of Texas-Pan American in their season opener. Against the Broncs, No. 20 Mariaxi Herrera and Nadia Grlj came from behind to earn tiebreaking victories in singles No. 1 and 4 and Erika Larrea downed Camilla Trujillo in straight sets in flight No. 6.  
 
The Lady Panthers fell to Abilene Christian University, 6-1, on Jan. 31 and are scheduled to face Washington State University today in Houston.
 
Prairie View A&M defeated Texas A&M-Kingsville, 9-0, in the lone matchup on Feb. 3, 2012, the first season of competition for the Javelinas since being reinstated.
