Kingsville has defeated TSU in its previous three meetings at Memorial Stadium

STEPHENVILLE, Texas (Football) – Texas A&M University-Kingsville (1-4, 0-3 LSC) heads to 2013 Co-Lone Star Conference Champion Tarleton State University (1-3, 1-2 LSC) on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. looking to put a damper on the Texans' homecoming game at Memorial Stadium.
 
The Javelinas are 20-7 all-time against the Texans and 10-3 on Tarleton State's home field. TAMUK has defeated the Texans three consecutive times at Memorial Stadium, with its last loss coming in 2006. However, TSU defeated Kingsville, 45-20, at Javelina Stadium on Nov. 2, 2013.
 
SOMETHING HAS TO GIVE
Texas A&M University-Kingsville and Tarleton State are both looking to put an end to a three-game losing skid. The Javelinas lead the all-time series, 20-7, and are 10-3 in Stephenville, Texas. TAMUK has won the previous three matchups at Memorial Stadium.
 
The Game
Texas A&M-Kingsville (1-4, 0-3 LSC) looks for its first Lone Star Conference victory of the season against 2013 co-Champion Tarleton State University (1-3, 1-2 LSC) on Saturday, Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at Memorial Stadium.
 
The Texans were ranked as high as No. 12 earlier this season and defeated No. 11 West Texas A&M in their season opener. However, TSU is currently mired in a three-game losing skid and look to right the ship on Homecoming Night in Stephenville, Texas.
