WICHITA FALLS, Texas – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women’s tennis continued its road trip against another nationally-ranked opponent falling 8-1 to No. 27 Midwestern State on Tuesday afternoon. The Javelinas final match of the road trip has been postponed due to wet weather in Austin.
Marija Dimitrovska picked up her third singles win of the year for the Javelinas (1-8, 0-5) lone point. She defeated Taylor Coffman of MSU 6-4, 2-6, 10-7 at No. 2 singles. It was her second win in singles action this season.
The Mustangs (11-5, 3-1) did not drop a set in the remaining matches. They lost no more than two games in any other match.
The Javelinas are off until next week when they challenge North Texas College in Temple.
