BISHOP, TEXAS – In their third dual-match of the season and the Lone Star Conference season opener, No. 28 Tarleton State swept the Texas A&M-Kingsville women’s tennis team, 9-0.

Tarleton took each singles match in two games.

Freshman duo Marija Dimitrovska and Mariaxi Herrera teamed together in doubles as they took on Tarleton’s Karla Martinez and Marina Rull. The match ended in a close 8-5 final.

Kingsville heads to the courts again next Saturday against Abilene Christian at home. Match begins at 2:30 p.m.
