PUEBLO, COLORADO – The Texas A&M-Kingsville women’s track and field team finished its season on Thursday night at the NCAA Division II National Track Meet hosted by Colorado State-Pueblo.

The Javelinas had two competitors in the meet, both in the 400-meter dash. Freshmen Kathy Trevino (Rio Grande City/Rio Grande City HS) and Amber Perry (Goliad/Goliad HS) each ran in the second heat of the preliminaries. Trevino was seventh in the heat in a time of 56.98 and Perry was eighth in the heat in a time of 57.47. In order to reach finals, they would have had to run faster than 54.88.
