Lake, for the women’s golf program, posted the highest finish of her collegiate career at the Oklahoma Intercollegiate in Lawton, Okla., with a four-over 146 through 36 holes at the Lawton Country Club last week. The 146 tops her previous career-best by four strokes and her second-place finish is three spots better than her showing at the West Texas A&M Fall Invitational earlier in the season.

Lake posted a 72 on Monday and closed out the tournament with a three-over 74 on Tuesday. She piled up a team-high 13 pars in the final round to go with a birdie on the 12th hole, and started her junior campaign with two top-five finishes through four tournaments.
