Edmond, Okla. – Javelinas Fall to Mustangs in Four
The Javelinas take their second loss in a row against Midwestern St. in a four-set match. The team lost the first set 25-22 before storming back in set 2 and winning 25-14. In a match where runs were at a premium Midwestern St. managed to find the rhythm at just the right moments.
The longest run by either team was five which only happened twice, and once by each team. Despite the loss multiple Javelinas showed out. One such was
Karrington Crawford who had 10 kills on a .421 hitting clip.
Alayna Guerrero her streak of at least 30 assists, which now stands at five-straight matches.
Tayae-Renae Garcia added another 20 digs to her total which brought her season total over 200.
Texas A&M – Kingsville fought hard and had a few more rallies gone their way this match could have had a completely different ending. The Hogs fall to 6-4 on the year with Oklahoma Christian on the sheet next they look to gather a win heading back home next weekend and halt this losing streak at two.
