Box Score Edmond, TX – Javelinas Bounce back with Dominant Sweep over Oklahoma Christian
 
The Javelinas looked like a completely different team than they did Against Midwestern. Texas A&M – Kingsville came out with a new energy and played with fire as they never allowed Oklahoma Christian have a chance in any set. Taking them down swiftly in three (25-14, 25-14, 25-18). The Hogs only trailed three times this match, but during the first set they took a 4 point lead and never let it up.
 
This was a complete team effort from the Javelinas as Tayae-Renae Garcia collected another 15 digs, with Monique Gonzalez right behind her at 14 digs. Alayna Guerrero had 24 assists to lead team, with seven more Javelinas earning at least one assist. Three Hogs had nine or more kills with Cambelle Brammer having 11 with Natalee Rush and Alexiah Thompson not far back each with nine. In a match where the team had a hitting percentage of .365 they look unstoppable.
 
Mentioning the team as whole is necessary as they had 41 kills to OC's 26 as well as 39 assists to 24, had 48 digs to 31, and collected 7 to 2 blocks for the match. This team looked on a mission and they had every intention of proving nothing was going to get in the way.
 
The Javelinas are staying on the road to start conference play as they will play West Texas A&M on Sep 18^th 6:00pm in Canyon, then they will hop on over to Portales, New Mexico to play Eastern New Mexico on Sep 19th 2:00pm.
