Track and Field sending full crews to San Angelo for David Noble Relays

Kingsville - For the first time during this young outdoor season, the Texas A&M-Kingsville men's and women's track and field teams are bringing their full teams to an Invite as they head to San Angelo for three days of competition at the David Noble Relays.

The teams have already competed in two outdoor meets, and, just this week, brought home a pair of Lone Star Conference Field Athlete of the Week awards, but this will be the first time that both full squads will be travelling to compete, with 51 total athletes, 38 men and 23 women, set to compete. Live Results can be found here. Saturday's live stream can be found here.

"We have a great group going to San Angelo this weekend," Head Coach Ryan Dall. "It will be the first outdoor meet with our full squad minus a couple that are still coming off injury and may still be a week or so away from competing."

The first events of the weekend for Kingsville will come at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday with the beginning of the Decathlon. The Javelinas' multi events will finish on Friday with events that begin at 1:00 p.m.. Standard individual and relay events for both track and field will begin a rolling schedule at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday.

"I feel like we're ready for some big performances so if the weather cooperates, we could have a big weekend," Dall said. "Either way, we're ready to go. Indoors is fully behind us and we're getting into the real meat of the outdoor season with these next three to four weekends and our home Cactus Cup coming up."
