Tucson, AZ. - Texas A&M-Kingsville wrapped up the West Texas A&M Desert Invite at Ventana Canyon in 16th place on Monday.
The Javelinas clocked out of the tournament with a score of +60, just three points ahead of Metropolitan State University-Denver.
Mekdes Rozas led the way for the Javelinas with a +9 scoreline for the tournament, her lowest score thus far this season. She also finished in 25th place overall for the tournament.
Another Javelina who had a solid performance at the Desert Invite was Ryana Lopez. The sophomore from San Benito, Texas, finished in a tie for fourth place on par 5 holes with an even scoreline.
Zoe Dean also finished with a solid performance at the tournament, finishing inside the top 50 with a +13 scoreline.
Texas A&M-Kingsville will remain in Arizona for the RJGA Women's Palm Valley Classic hosted by Western New Mexico from April 4-5.Â
