Destin, FL - Texas A&M-Kinsgsville concluded the Emerald Coast Classic in 15th place after two days of competition on Tuesday.
The Javelinas finished their east coast tour with a +78 scoreline, just two points ahead the University of Illinois-Springfield and six points behind Washburn University. This was the first time the Javelinas competed in the Emerald Coast Classic as well as the first time the Javelinas competed in Florida since the 2023 fall season.
Joining the Javelinas in Destin were No. 3 Flager University,, No. 8 St. Mary's University, No. 14 West Texas A&M, No. 19 Central Missouri University plus No. 20 and host school University of St. Louis-Missouri.
Zoe Dean led the way for the Javelinas with a +31 score with a team-best +3 finish in round two of the tournament. Dean finished in 31st place individually.
Alessia Rojas and
Mekdes Rozas finished right next to each other, with Rozas scoring a +21 for the tournament while Rojas finished with a +22.
Texas A&M-Kingsville gets some time off before hitting the road again for the West Texas Desert Invitational beginning on Mar. 31.
