Kingsville - A pair of Javelinas have been named to the Women's Golf Coaches Associations (WGCA) All-American Scholar Team the association announced on Monday.
Senior
Alessia Rojas and Sophomore
Jamie Miller were named to the All American Scholar Team. Both players were selected by the WGCA last year to the All-American Scholar Team as well.
WGCA criteria says the athletes selected must have an overall cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or higher and played in 50% of the college's regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year nominated through the team's conference championship for the 2024-25 academic school year.
Rojas graduated in the spring from TAMUK with a degree in Marketing. In the 2024-25 school year she finished with a cumulative 3.75 GPA.
Miller finished her Sophomore year with a cumulative 3.95 GPA. She is currently studying to get a degree in Communications with a focus in Science and Disorders.
