Kingsville - Riding momentum from the first two wins in program history, the Texas A&M - Kingsville STUNT team is headed to San Antonio to face off against St. Mary's and St. Edward's in a pair of midweek matchups.
At last weekend's Texas Woman's Tournament the Javelinas' newest athletic program got its first ever wins, taking down Connors State 11-3 and St. Ed's, who they are slated to play twice more this year including Wednesday's game, 11-2.
The first three weeks of competition for the program have all seen the team travel to multi-day tournaments where the Javelinas played at least three games over the course of the weekend. This time, however, Kingsville will be playing in a triangular (tri) meet, with only two games on its docket - back-to-back matchups with St. Mary's at 4:30 p.m. followed by St. Edward's at 5:45 p.m..
After Wednesday's games, TAMUK will have just one regular season game left on its schedule - the team's home opener on Saturday, March 15 against St. Ed's
