STUNT wins first ever postseason game

Dallas - Capping off its first season in program history, the Texas A&M - Kingsville STUNT team took down St. Edward's, 11-6, in the first round of the Lone Star Conference Tournament before falling, 21-0, to Dallas Baptist in the second round and 21-2 to Texas Woman's in the consolation bracket.

The Javelinas started their first ever trip to the postseason by facing the Hilltoppers for the third straight time. For the first time in those three matches, the teams played a full game (instead of a half game), but just like all three times the squads faced off in the regular season, Kingsville came away with the win.

The win earned the Javelinas a spot in the second round of the tournament and a matchup later on Friday with DBU, the No.1 seed and host of the competition. Though they fell short, the Javelinas kept the game closer than both times that they faced the Patriots during the regular season.

TAMUK finished off its season with a hard-fought loss to TWU on Saturday when the two teams matched up in the consolation portion of the bracket.

The team's first ever season saw it finish 5-13 overall and finish fourth in the LSC, closing out the year winners of three of its last five.
