Kingsville - Fall 2025's Signing Day brought with it four exciting new additions to the Texas A&M-Kingsville volleyball team, who has officially announced the signing of Cambelle Brammer, Haley Shinske, Gabrielle Ramon, and Isabel Weis.
Bringing in versatility and talent, the four incoming freshmen come from three different states and will be excellent additions to a program with significant momentum.Â
"We are very excited about this signing class," Head Coach

Cambelle Brammer, OH, 5'11" - Fruita, CO
"My biggest goal at TAMUK is to grow," Brammer said. "I want to grow as an athlete but also as a person. I want to grow my physical and mental skills on and off the volleyball court. I would love to make friendships that last long beyond my college years. I want to pursue a degree in elementary education and hopefully graduate in 4 years."
A versatile, big hitting incoming freshman from Fruita, CO, Brammer comes to the Javelinas after playing four years of varsity ball for the Fruita Monument Wildcats. She collected just shy of 800 kills in the 311 sets played in her career. During a stellar senior year, Brammer averaged 3.9 k/s on a .285 hitting percentage, while also doing it on the defensive side with 3.9 d/s on the season.
"Cambelle is a phenomenal addition to both the indoor and beach program," Allen-Gonzalez said. "With a big arm and great ball control, her ceiling is incredibly high."
Haley Shinske, MB, 6'2" - Peoria, AZ
"I chose TAMUK because everyone I met was super welcoming and made me feel really comfortable," Shinske said. "It just felt like a place where I'd be supported both on and off the court. I know it'll set me up well for my future, and I'm so thankful for the chance to keep playing volleyball while earning my degree."
A consistent front-row force, Shinske is an incoming freshman from Liberty High School who spents three seasons on the Lions varsity squad. Her role on the team increased significantly during her junior and senior years, posting 72 and 62 total blocks, averaging 2.5 b/m in her career. Shinske is also coming off her most efficient season offensively, which saw her tally 98 kills on a .456 hitting percentage.Â
"Haley is a true M1," Allen-Gonzalez said. "She is a physical blocker and capable of scoring off of both one and two feet."
Gabrielle Ramon, S/DS, 5'6" - San Antonio, TX
"I chose TAMUK because they gave me the opportunity to continue playing the sport I love at the collegiate level while also letting me achieve a great education," Ramon said. "It is close to home, and it offers me the independence of the college experience. Â I am able to live on my own and still be close to my family."
Incoming freshman from John Paul Stevens High School (6A - 28), Ramon can do it all on the court. Throughout her career she amassed 2,955 assists, 1,375 digs and 226 service aces showing off her versatility on the court. In Ramon's senior season collected 1,062 assists putting her 116th in the nation and averaging 8.8 a/s. She was also a weapon behind the service line stacking 60+ service aces three years in a row. Defensively she stayed consistent putting up over 350 digs for the third year in a row averaging 3.1 d/s in those years.Â

"Gabby is athletic and has very fast hands," Ramon said. "We love that she is capable of running a faster tempo offense."
Isabel Weis, MB/RS, 5'11" - San Antonio, TX
"I choose TAMUK because of the culture and people," Weis said. "During my visit I felt extremely welcomed and felt as if I was already at home, also during my visit, meeting some of the girls on the team I could tell that their connection to one another is amazing and something that is very important to me."
Weis is an incoming freshman from Reagan High School (6A - 27). The multi-skilled front row player has proven the unique ability to excel at all three positions. Following an excellent senior season for the Rattlers, Weis was named to the All District First team.
Â
"Isabel has a very fast arm and is extremely versatile in the front row," Allen-Gonzalez said. "She can score at any of the three positions, but we especially like that she can attack faster tempo balls and can score off of one foot behind the setter."
