St. Simons Island, GA - Viviana Farias finished in the top-ten for individual scorers as the team finished 14th at The St. Simons Intercollegiate hosted by Lincoln Memorial University.
The Javelinas finished in 14th place out of the 18 teams that participated in the tournament. Overall, for the tournament, the team shot +89, progressively improving each day. After day one, they sat in the 17th spot, then improved round by round, ending up at 14 with a cumulative score of 953.
Farias finished the tournament +4 through three rounds, shooting three over in rounds one and two, placing her in eighteenth place heading into round three. In round three, she would shoot -2, marking a new career low. The score would boost Farias 10 spots, finishing tied for 8th in the tournament.
Zoe Dean would finish off tied for 43rd, shooting +11 through the three rounds. She would finish +15 for the tournament, shooting a 76 in the final two rounds.
Jamie Miller would shoot +32 through three rounds, finishing tied for 83rd. Mekdes Rozas shot +38 and finished tied for 88th.
Texas A&M-Kingsville heads to Waikoloa, Hawaii, to participate in the Dennis Rose Intercollegiate hosted by the University of Hawaii at Hilo.
