Aiea, HI - Texas A&M-Kingsville Women's Golf team finished their Fall season in 4th place at the HPU Southwest Airlines Shark Shootout hosted by Hawaii Pacific University. Meanwhile, Zoe Dean was able to notch her second top-ten individual finish of the season. 

Going into day two, the team would sit in 4th with a score of +46. With Zoe Dean shooting the best score, 81, she was tied for 10th at the end of day one. Mia Scrimgeour and Viviana Farias would finish tied for 14th, sitting with +10 scores.

The team would finish 4th out of the seven teams that competed in the tournament. As a team, they shot a combined +85 throughout the 36-hole tournament. Improving by seven shots on day two, Zoe Dean finished 9th in the tournament, shooting +18 par, shooting an 81 both days. 

Farias shot an 82 on day two, finishing tied for 16th with a total score of +22 for the tournament. Scrimgeour would finish not too far behind, slotted at 19th with a combined score of +24. 

Mekdes Rozas would shoot an 89 on day one, but would improve on her day two performance, shooting an 82. Closing out her tournament +27 and finishing tied for 23rd. The same story would go for Jamie Miller, who saw a rough day one, going +20 heading into day two, but would improve going +8 to finish the tournament on a strong note. She would finish 26th in the tournament.

Texas A&M-Kingsville will be back in action again on February 16-17, at the Islander Classic hosted by Texas A&M-Corpus Christi at the Corpus Christi Country Club.
