Kingsville - Texas A&M-Kingsville Men's Basketball was picked to finish 11th in the Lone Star Conference preseason poll the conference announced on Monday.
The preseason poll is voted on by LSC head coaches, sports information directors and media members.
The Javelinas, coming off an 11-17 record last season, finished with 330 points in the preseason poll, just 20 points behind Texas A&M-International. Reigning conference champion Dallas Baptist University finished on top of the preseason poll with 850 points and 42 first place votes.
 The conference also announced the preseason players to watch list, in which senior guard
Allen Singleton was named to the list. Singleton, a native of League City Texas, averaged 10.3 points, three rebounds and 3.3 assists for the Hogs last season on 40.3 percent shooting from the floor.
Singleton is part of the 2025-26 Javelina Men's Basketball roster that brought in eight new faces to the roster including seven transfer players and one true freshman. With Singleton included, the Javelinas also return nine players from the 2024-25 roster to bring their roster total to 17.
